We have an opportunity for a Construction Project Manager at our location in Bedfordshire, England. This is a permanent full time position.


The Construction Project Manager shall be responsible to the 48 FW Program Integration Office (PIO) and the Installation Site Security Officer for the management of the operations to ensure compliance with the ICD-705 requirements for the construction of Special Compartmentalized Information Facilities included in the F-35 program. These facilities include Building 1245 CVN Advanced Programs, F-35 Dual Squadron Operations Facility, B1346 SCIF Expansion, and F35 Simulator Facilities. The position must be in place within 60 days of the award of this change. The position will interface daily with the PIO and other offices and be located in the PIO office.


The Construction Project Manager shall possess, at least, a bachelor’s degree, and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing complex project efforts. In the context of this paragraph a project is an undertaking requiring extensive coordination that delivers a required capability within a constrained budget and schedule. The ICD 705 program manager shall have a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in certification and security oversite of SCIF facilities construction, preferably, in a foreign country environment. It is desirable, but not mandatory, that the individual possesses a Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional certification.
