Delivery Manager

Job Description
Are you a dynamic Delivery Manager with a desire for plenty of variety and challenges in your role as you deliver innovative IT solutions to Health and Civil customers?
Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join the team in our Leeds City Centre office on a permanent basis.

Working as part of the delivery team within our Healthcare portfolio, you will be responsible for managing one or more projects for our growing customer base.
This role brings real variety including:
Managing the delivery of multiple IT projects across application development, systems integration and consultancy
Communicating and working directly with customers to ensure we meet their high standards of project execution
Single point responsibility for the management of project budgets, work in progress and aged debt
Managing, motivating and communicating with your project teams to ensure that each member has a clear role and set of responsibilities, and that the team works effectively together
Providing input to the pre-sales process to support the production of high-quality proposals
Participating in the continual improvement of the delivery function
Administering line management of assigned staff to maximise their career development potential

In addition to a strong track record of flawless project delivery, and first-class organisation and communication skills, we need candidates with:
Demonstrable successful project management experience in a customer facing environment within a Public Sector setting
Experience of delivering complex IT projects using a variety of methodologies including excellence in Agile techniques
Ability to work autonomously, prioritising tasks and activities as business and customer needs change
Experience of working in a structured, quality environment
Capability to build multi-disciplinary project teams to effectively deliver complex IT solutions
Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, SCRUM)
The following skills are desirable:
Experience of working within the Public Sector; in a leadership capacity
